National Health Policy Conference

When Are We Going to Get Serious About Health Care Spending in the United States?

Session Description

This session will thoughtfully address if the time is right for multi-sector evidence-based discussions on how much of the U.S. economy should be devoted to health care and how those dollars can generate the greatest yield in terms of health outcomes. Discussion topics will include explicit trade-offs between salary and health benefits, health and social services, and incentives for innovation and spending constraints.
