Kathleen B. Schwarz, MD

Dr. Kathleen Schwarz is a professor of pediatrics and board-certified pediatric gastroenterologist with a special interest in pediatric liver disease - particularly viral hepatitis and liver transplantation. She graduated from Scripps College and then attended Washington University School of Medicine. She trained in both pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology at St. Louis Children's Hospital.
Dr. Schwarz was Chief of Pediatric Gastroenterology at St. Louis University for 9 years followed by a move to Johns Hopkins University where she recently retired as Chief of the Division and continues as the Medical Director of the Pediatric Liver Center.
